Decorating can be a very creative process, and it’s so much fun to see home decorators put their own spin on traditional tree stands and tree skirts. From tires to wooden barrels, from thrifted drums to every basket imaginable, these creative Christmas tree stands are fun and inspiring!

I recently shared my new basket Christmas tree stand, and it got me thinking about all the fun ways to dress up the bottom of a Christmas tree.
I’ve made a “North Pole” crate for my tree before, back when fun stands were harder to find to buy. I’ve also used a galvanized tree collar and a basket-style tree collar (made for a Christmas tree). I’d love to try other ideas next Christmas.
