It’s Christmas home tour season, and I’m thrilled to share my holiday gallery wall and kitchen with you today! I’m joining forces with some of my favorite blogging friends for an “All Through The House Tour,” so you’ll see a variety of gorgeous rooms from each blogger throughout the week. Be sure to check back every day for fresh inspiration!
Okay, back to my home, which is proudly dressed in its Christmas best. Yay! I shared my Magnolia Wreath Living Room Mantel last week, and you can find all of those photos here.
My living room has an open floor plan, and the small wall separating the kitchen from the living room is my new gallery wall. It isn’t entirely new, but the family photos are! These frames sat empty for more than a year, so I’m excited to finally finish decorating this space.

Last year I filled the frames with wrapping paper and a few prints, and some of those prints are on my mantel this year. Check out last year’s Merry Christmas Home Tour here.

I also made this pallet sign last year for my mantel. It fits perfectly on my Everett console table now, and it’s one of my most treasured Christmas decor pieces. Find the pallet sign tutorial here. I also offer a free “O Holy Night” printable here.

Around the corner is our eat-in kitchen. I kept things simple this year with some free evergreen branches from the local hardware store.

Check your local hardware or big box store for free limbs and wood slices. I love free decor, don’t you?! I also just hung a wreath with my favorite navy buffalo check ribbon on my DIY giant chalkboard and wrote “joy” in the middle.

Keeping it simple and sweet!
I tucked a sprig of festive holiday cheer into my DIY chalk holder (tutorial here) and called it good. I love that handy little organizer!

My farmhouse shelves are another favorite DIY project in this space. Can you believe they cost less than $40 and are super easy to make? This is my first time decorating them for Christmas, and I love them! You can check them out for Spring, Summer & Fall, too.

And finally, we make it into the actual kitchen. My absolute favorite decor in here this year is the mini boxwood wreaths. Aren’t they cute?!

It all started with inspiration from Linda at the “It All Started with Paint” blog. She had the cutest little wreaths on her white kitchen cabinets last Christmas, and I was determined to recreate the look! The only problem was that I couldn’t find affordable mini Christmas wreaths anywhere.
Then one day I was browsing the Dollar Spot at Target, as we all like to do, and it was like a light from Heaven shone down on the most amazing faux boxwood wreaths I had ever seen. It’s actually a long garland, but I cut it up and turned it into mini wreaths.
I’ve spotted this garland at the Dollar Spot several times now, and I’m pretty sure my store still has some in stock. So grab some! And while you’re thinking about heading to Target, here’s a super quick tutorial!

Here’s what you’ll need:
- Boxwood garland or another type of garland
- Floral wire cutters
- Floral wire
- Ribbon, too!
Grab some of the garland and wrap it around a few times to give it the fullness of a regular wreath. Cut the end so it overlaps the starting end, then wrap it tightly with floral wire.

Add a ribbon and you’re all set! Mini Christmas wreaths for 50¢ each! That’s my kind of decorating.

I was sipping my afternoon tea when I took these photos. Lest I sound fancier than I am, I’m not a big tea drinker. In fact, I never drink it. But I recently discovered a fabulous holiday drink with peppermint-infused white chocolate from Teavana. It’s so yummy! I could drink it all day long.
It’s kind of pricey (but worth it!), so I only allow myself one cup every couple of days. It’s sooooo good, and they only sell it at Christmas, so grab some now. Your taste buds will thank me!

This little corner is our coffee corner. I decided to swap out the printable for my new Chalkboard Christmas Cookie Recipe Printable (click here to get it). It’s so cute! Perfect for the holiday baking days coming up soon!

That about wraps it up! I’m so glad you stopped by today. I’d love for you to check out my Magnolia Wreath mantel (click here)!
