Ever since visiting my aunt and uncle on St. Thomas USVI back in college and seeing their stunning outdoor living spaces, I’ve been fascinated by the idea of outdoor rooms. They had 3 different dining “rooms” outside, and the whole home was open concept. When you walked in the front door, the back door framed a view of the bay below. But I was most intrigued by their outdoor laundry “room,” which was simply one wall of a covered patio with a washer and dryer. So fun!

What a cool idea this couple had: an outdoor theater in their garden. The fun part is that it rolls up and out of the way when it’s not in use.
