Dreams come easier in a room full of lovely things.

It's a slow process getting this nursery finished. To be honest, it's easier to keep my house clean with a preschooler than to do DIY projects during a baby's nap time. Whew!

But I finally finished her gallery wall. It's really just a collection of pretty things I found and love, and I feel like it carries on the theme of her woodland nursery.
Some of these pieces were in the original design board, and I fell in love with them almost a year ago when I was planning this room. They've been sitting in the closet for a long time, patiently waiting for me to hang them on the wall.

The biggest holdup was that I'd collected a few things, but the wall needed something more. When I laid everything out on the floor to plan the placement, it felt like something was missing.

So I made the sweet little moss and flower initial to round out the collection. Tutorial coming soon! (You may be wondering what "S" stands for, since I call her "Baby G." It's her first initial, since "G" stands for "girl.")

I'm also glad to have Baby G's 5-month pictures back so I could frame one for the wall. (I printed this one on my home printer while I wait for the real prints to arrive. Photo by Amanda Owens Photography.) I love her little expression in this one!

My sweet baby girl. I can't believe she's almost 6 months old. Where has the time gone?!?

I purposely don't show much more than the gallery wall. I also took things off the nightstand below.

I'm not quite ready for the full room reveal, but it's coming soon. I have one more DIY project planned, and then I'll be ready. I hope. Fingers crossed!
