Pile pumpkins and greenery (faux or real) down the center of the table for a fast, simple fall tablescape. Add a few topiaries or floral arrangements along the table for a polished finish!
This year I’m keeping my fall decor as simple as I can. I’d rather have a few larger pieces than a pile of small ones. At one point I truly believed more was better when it came to decor. That look is cute, but this season I decided to switch things up!

But looking at my tablescape this year, you might wonder, “how is that simple??” Well, there are a lot of pumpkins, but in reality there are only 3 items in this tablescape: the pumpkins, the greenery & stems and the bay leaf topiaries.
I used what I had – and, well… I have a lot of pumpkins!
My goal was to build a pretty centerpiece without buying anything new just for it. I had plenty of pumpkins stashed from years past, and I love that look, so I started there.

I laid down a runner in a light blue and cream stripe. I’ve had it for years, and it works with every season. I can’t find a link to the exact one I own, but any of these lovely neutral table runners would do the trick!

Then I filled the middle of the table with pumpkins and placed my bay leaf topiaries at each end. (I adore the simplicity of my DIY dough bowl pumpkin floral arrangement on my DIY buffet console in the background.)

I also added a large blue mason jar holding pretty burgundy and cream fall arrangements in the middle of the table.

My trusty hyacinth placemats are the perfect base for any table setting and suit any style or season. I love them! Soon I plan to order gold silverware, but for this round I wanted to use only what I already have!

I bought these gorgeous turquoise melamine place settings this summer because I wanted something new. They look so much pricier than melamine, yet my kids can’t break them.

Finishing the look is a simple mini pumpkin with a cloth napkin tucked into the bowls. Super easy!
Isn’t that just so much fun?!
