One of the best parts of fall and the harvest season is decorating with its bounty! Beyond pumpkins, here are 15 crafty yet chic fall centerpieces to brighten your dining room, coffee table, mantel and anywhere else in your home that needs some festive fall cheer.
I love the heat of summer, but there's something magical about nights that start to cool and sweater season arriving. As soon as things feel cozy, I'm ready to start decorating for fall.

I'm a big pumpkin fan, and you'll see them in many of these centerpiece ideas. But I also wanted to include other natural elements for inspiration! Fall is full of earthy, warm tones, where dried florals and rich harvest colors take center stage.
Use these centerpieces wherever you like to add a little fall cheer, whether that's hosting on the dining table or creating a cozy autumn mood on the living room coffee table.

15 Fall Centerpieces for Your Home
However you place these fall-themed centerpieces, you can tailor them to fit your home. Recreate them as they are or borrow bits and pieces from each to make your own unique centerpiece!
1. Dough Bowl Centerpiece
I made this centerpiece in a dough bowl I found at an antique store, and the rest came together on its own. Pastel pumpkins are tucked in among an array of florals.
Since I love jewel tones, I included hydrangeas. I went with the real thing, but you can use faux or dried hydrangeas for an arrangement that lasts longer.

2. Wheat Wreath
I love this fall centerpiece from Janelle Trinette because it has so many layers. The base is a wooden tray topped with a wheat wreath and wooden beads. Inside the wreath, she placed a wooden bowl filled with white pumpkins.
You could easily fill the bowl with other fall items like pinecones or foliage. I also like the idea of setting layered candles in the center of the wreath for a cozier glow while serving dinner or having evening drinks in the living room.

3. Lantern Fall Centerpiece
If you love a rustic feel, you'll enjoy this DIY fall centerpiece from Serendipity Refined, which features a rusty lantern. Around it she wrapped a ring of grapevine and bittersweet berries on a beautifully patterned, neutral tablecloth.
You can easily make this arrangement your own. If you'd like it more chic than rustic, swap the rusty lantern for a smooth white one.

4. Fall Flower Centerpiece
Your centerpieces don't have to shout fall the moment someone looks at them. Sometimes a change of season is a subtle shift in color palette rather than obvious pumpkin symbolism.
For example, this fall Farmgirl Flowers centerpiece has elements that could work any time of year. But when you look at it, you can't help feeling like settling in for the evening with a cup of tea.
A simple flower arrangement in warm shades like orange, peach, burgundy and cream can give your home a fresh yet elegant autumn feel.

5. Painted Pinecones
I love decorating with pinecones because you can forage for them yourself, and they look so good once styled! This pinecone bowl decor by A Pretty Fix is a perfect example. She painted hers with white spray paint and styled them in a white bowl with dried nuts and berries.
Besides spray painting pinecones, you can also bleach them. Bleaching is simple and makes them look more polished. It's also a good way to tell fall pinecones apart from the Christmas ones.

6. Chinoiserie Pumpkins
This is one way to build an easy DIY fall centerpiece with pumpkins, but with a twist. I admired chinoiserie pumpkins for years before I made my own, and I couldn't believe how easy they were to create!
The result is an elegant, fresh take on the bright orange pumpkin. They look great grouped together in a dish with small moss accents.

7. Apple Accent Centerpiece
One of my favorite things about fall is the apple harvest. You find big, delicious apples everywhere, ready to be baked into pies. And when you're serving apple pie for dessert, why not use apples to decorate the table too?
I love how simple this apple centerpiece by Julie Blanner is to put together, yet it looks like a million bucks. It's made almost entirely from greenery, so it's an affordable way to look amazing on a budget.

8. Pumpkin Flower Arrangement
We often think of carving pumpkins as jack-o'-lanterns, but they also make fun, festive vases! Use a real pumpkin or pick a plastic one for a longer-lasting flower arrangement. You can use dried and faux florals with floral foam or a hidden vase for a real arrangement.
I love this one by Pumpkin and a Princess. She used a white pumpkin as the base and topped it with neutral greenery, including cotton branches, pinecones, faux leaves and other dried foliage.

9. Pinecone Fall Centerpieces
Here's another great table decor idea that features pinecones. Made by Songbird Blog, this arrangement looks rustic and abstract. I love that the whole thing is monochromatic and looks very intentional in its unique design.
She used pinecones in varying sizes alongside other collected pieces like feathers, chestnuts, dried seedheads, seed pods and twigs. After drying everything, she assembled the pieces with floral foam and wire.

10. Apothecary Jar Arrangement
Apothecary jars work so well in fall for turning the simplest arrangements into something elegant yet down to earth. This dried wheat arrangement by Clean and Scentsible is a perfect example. The amber glass of the jars adds lovely warmth to the display.
She uses a wooden cutting board as a base and fills the jars with dried wheat. Then she scatters fall-inspired fillers like ceramic squirrels, acorns and fairy lights to finish the centerpiece.

11. Faux Leaves
This faux leaf fall centerpiece is one of the simplest arrangements I've made, yet it's still one of my favorites. Faux leaves add wonderful height and texture wherever you need them and are so easy to arrange. I paired mine with some colored pumpkins, a clear vase and a wooden tray.
This arrangement sat on my kitchen island. It shows how you can decorate any surface in your home, even the ones you use every day. When I needed to cook, I could simply lift the whole arrangement off, since it sat on a handy tray.

12. Pumpkin Tea Lights
Candles always make a triumphant return in fall. I find myself lighting them nearly every night for their cozy atmosphere. Of course, they also look wonderful as part of these fall table centerpiece ideas.
I love this DIY idea by Home for the Harvest, where she uses real white mini pumpkins as tea light holders. By carving a hole in the middle of each pumpkin, she made a safe and beautiful fall-themed candle display.

13. Festive Table Runner
I love going all out on the dining table for Thanksgiving centerpieces and other fall gatherings. I swear it makes the food look even tastier to your guests! This festive table runner design by The Unlikely Hostess is a perfect example.
She uses the muted fall colors of bronze, yellow and brown to create a cohesive, striking centerpiece for her dining table. Pillar candles add height, and faux leaves and pine branches add texture. The pumpkins and gourds are perfect, and the cotton balls add a touch of softness.

14. Bittersweet Tray Display
Plaids and Poppies creates a wonderful version of the tray arrangement. She has everything needed for a successful display. First, she builds height with bittersweet branches, one of the best foliage choices for fall thanks to its vibrant orange color.
She complements the orange with a small candle and pumpkin. I like her pairing of a succulent on the tray, since you wouldn't normally think of it as a fall decor item. Next to the orange and the plaid, it creates a nice contrast.

15. Tiered Candles
No matter the season, tiered candles never let you down. All you need is candles, candle holders, a tray and some kind of filler. This fall centerpiece by A Pumpkin and Princess carries out the idea perfectly.
To make it fall-themed, choose autumn scents to fill the room and swap the greenery around the candles. It's a simple design, but it looks amazing in the home!

That wraps up all of the fall centerpieces I have my eye on this season. Take a little inspiration from each one, and have fun decorating for the cozy season!
