Hi friends!! It's an exciting day around here. Not only will I show you how easy-peasy it is to make your own shower gel, but we're also having a big ol' party tonight, and it's going to be fun!

Up until a year or so ago, I loved buying all kinds of scented shower gels. I'd get excited about picking up a new scent anytime my old bottle ran out.

But then I started learning more about the not-so-nice ingredients in everyday bath and beauty products, so I began buying more natural options.

And now I'm excited that I've started making my very own shower gel, and I know exactly what's in it. It's so simple, you'll be amazed.

What you'll need:

  • 2/3 c. Castile soap
  • 2 Tbs. raw honey (you can buy it locally, or I just get it from Amazon)
  • 1 tsp. vitamin E oil
  • 1 tsp. jojoba oil
  • 2 tsp. vegetable glycerin
  • Essential Oil combination of choice. I like this one:
    • 6 drops of Christmas Spirit
    • 4 drops of Idaho Blue Spruce

It smells so wonderful. The fruity notes of orange and the musky undertones of spruce and clove make it smell like you're sipping hot spiced cider next to the Christmas tree. There are so many great scent combinations, though. I'm going to try Stress Away next, because I love the vanilla and lime combo. Just play around with whatever you like! How to Make Your Own Sweet & Sassy Spruce Shower Gel

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. See? So easy!
  2. Whisk until the honey is combined with the rest of the ingredients. Did you know honey is so nourishing for your skin? So are vitamin E and jojoba oil. Your skin is going to LOVE you.
  3. Pour into an 8 oz. squeeze bottle and close with the lid.
  4. Enjoy the beautiful scent in the shower!
