Valentine’s Day is almost here! So I gathered some tasty treats for you to make and share!

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I’m so not ready for another holiday! Eek! My daughter is old enough to notice every holiday coming. Her little preschool is having a Valentine’s party, of course, so I have Valentine’s treats for 17 other little boys and girls and need to make a special treat for the party.

So if you’re like me and need a fun special treat to bring, or you’re an overachiever who wants some extra work, I rounded up some V-day treats.

We usually enjoy a special dessert on Valentine’s Day. In past years we’ve made a fun homemade cookie cake, which we love even more than store-bought ones. I grabbed a heart-shaped cookie pan on clearance after V-day last year, so we’ll give it a go this year.

My husband and I will probably exchange cards, and he’ll likely pick up some chocolate for me. He’s wonderful about bringing me flowers on random days all year, so I don’t really expect or want flowers on February 14th. I’m also so frugal that I’d fuss about him spending money on them when prices jump around that day.
