To celebrate the new season, I wanted to put together a roundup of tasty spring and Easter-themed sweets! I made Easter bird's nest treats last week and they were a big hit! I took my butterscotch haystacks recipe, left out the marshmallows and added mini egg candies on top. Aren't they adorable?!

And if you're anything like my family, you may have little ones running around who love to help make (and eat!) these treats.

12 Sweet Spring Treats
1. Buttermilk Cupcake Bites
Buttermilk does something special in baked goods, and these cupcakes are no exception. These moist, fluffy bites make a perfect base for pastel buttercream frosting. Add a dash of sprinkles for a playful, springlike finish! Pro tip: use a mini cupcake tray so they're easy to share.

2. White Chocolate Easter Bark
This one needs no baking! Melt white chocolate, spread it over a lined tray, and scatter crushed mini eggs, jelly beans or pastel sprinkles on top. Once it sets, break it into pieces for a colorful, crunchy snack.

3. Homemade Marshmallows
Skip the store-bought bags! Homemade marshmallows are softer, fluffier and far more satisfying. Stir in a little pastel food coloring for spring vibes, and finish with colorful sprinkles!

4. Spring Tree Cake Pops
These little edible trees bring spring celebrations to life! Dip cake balls into pastel candy melts and use "wood" straws for the trunks. Add green sprinkles or sugar flowers for foliage, then arrange them into a "forest" on your dessert table.

5. Bird's Nest Cupcakes
These cupcakes are as scrumptious as they are adorable! Top your favorite cupcake recipe with a swirl of green buttercream, then use chocolate shavings or shredded coconut to make a "nest." Finish with mini eggs or chocolate candy for the ultimate springtime look.

6. Cadbury Creme Egg Dip
Turn the seasonal favorite Cadbury Creme Eggs into a creamy, rich dessert dip! Mix cream cheese, marshmallow creme and whipped topping with melted creme eggs. It pairs beautifully with graham crackers or fruit slices at a party.

7. Chocolate Peanut Butter Nests
Blend melted chocolate and peanut butter with crushed chow mein noodles for an irresistible sweet-and-salty combo. Shape the mixture into small "nests," then tuck candy eggs inside for a rustic, spring-inspired treat.

8. White Chocolate Dipped Coconut Marshmallows
Take your marshmallow game up a notch! Cut them into bunny shapes, dip the tails in white chocolate, roll them in shredded coconut, and serve on a platter for an easy finger food.

9. Crispy Bunny Treats
A seasonal spin on classic rice cereal treats! Press the cereal mixture into bunny-shaped molds for fun Easter shapes. Add pastel icing accents for an extra festive touch.

10. Spring Cookie Cups
These colorful cookie cups combine the best of two worlds: cookies and candy! Start with sugar cookie dough, bake it in a mini muffin tin, and fill each cup with pastel sprinkles and Easter candy.

11. Edible Gardens
Edible gardens make snacks almost too cute to eat! Make chocolate pudding "dirt" and top it with crumbled cookies. Add fondant carrots for a whimsical dessert that looks straight out of a spring fairytale.

12. Peeps Pudding Cups with Mini Carrots
Peeps are a spring dessert staple! Layer colorful pudding with crushed cookies to make "dirt," then top it with a Peeps bunny. Everyone will love grabbing their own little garden cup!

Grab your apron, pick a recipe from the list, and start spreading those springtime vibes. Need help choosing? Why not start with buttermilk cupcake bites and work your way down the list?
Have fun cooking, making and eating together as you celebrate this new season. Enjoy!!
