I'm a working mom to one sweet little girl and wife to one wonderful husband. I'm proud to be Southern: I grew up in Tennessee and now call Alabama home. I love DIY and saving a little money without giving up style or function, and I love turning a house into a home. After being a child of God, a wife and a mom, one of my biggest jobs is making our house a warm, comfortable place for family and friends. I started this blog to keep a record of our Southern life and my love of making a house a home, and I hope you'll join this community and share the ways you make your own house a home.
