We signed a contract on our old house yesterday!!!!
It has been an amazing journey of trusting God with selling this home. We got some life-changing news about 5 weeks ago (more to come on that next week - it's all good, and no, I'm not pregnant. ) And so it was more urgent than ever that we sell our old house.
We've prayed and prayed and prayed that God would bring the right buyer at the right time. I knew He would come through, as He always does.
A few weeks ago we got an offer on the house. It was low, and the potential buyer still had to sell his own house. We felt such peace about turning it down, because it just didn't feel like the right fit. I'm sure some people thought we were c-r-a-z-y to turn down an offer when we were trying so hard to sell. We just had a feeling God had something better in store.
So yesterday we got an offer for FULL PRICE, and the buyer wants to close ASAP. I could not be happier!! Yay God! (I've been seeing so many rainbows lately, and I just knew God was telling me He's faithful to His promises to take care of us. So true.)
