Autumn is officially here, and I'm happy to welcome cooler weather and soup season. Tossing ingredients into the crock pot is one of my favorite things this time of year: it cooks dinner while I get on with my day, with almost no effort on my part.
Around the house I've added just a few autumn touches here and there. I find myself leaning toward less decor as the years go by, but the right pieces still make all the difference, especially my favorite fall throw pillows. They bring that cozy, seasonal feel instantly without feeling overwhelming.
On top of that, I've been busy giving my bedroom a refresh with a new paint color this week. There's still plenty left to do in the room, but my main goal is simply to get the walls painted before the holiday rush sneaks up on me.
