Happy Monday! I think you'll be happy when you see my fall mantel. I know I am … I can hardly stop looking at it. {Or maybe it's because I had my spring & summer mantel up for so long. Ha!}
The air is just beginning to change here, and the sights, sounds and feel of fall are starting to arrive. I am loving it!
Last year I did a pretty colorful fall display. I really loved it, but I wanted to do something simpler this year. Something like my spring and summer mantel that can carry over for more than just a few months. I wanted something I could transition through winter by changing just a couple of things. It's funny how my style seems to change as time goes on.
I decided to go simple and kind of neutral with two colors: green and orange. I'll share more about the details of my mantel tomorrow, but today I just wanted to share my view from the couch. Now, if I could only convey the smell of my spiced pumpkin candle through the screen, you'd be all set. Enjoy!
