My Favorite Gifts to Give (... or Receive, Wink!)

Tried-and-true gifts for any girlfriend, best friend, wife or sister! Every woman in your life will love these ideas!

Looking for a gift for your sister or your best friend? Look no further. These would all be welcome presents under the tree! | Favorite Gifts to Give (and Get!) at TheTurquoiseHome.com

This week I've been putting together my Christmas gift list for friends and family ahead of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and all the sale days in between. I'm especially hunting for a lower price on a Barbie Dream House, so if you spot one, send me a link!

I've also been dreaming about what I'd like this Christmas. Honestly, I'd love new countertops, but that's a pricey gift to unwrap. So I scaled my wish list down. Some of these items I already own, and others are truly on my list this year. I hope my hubby reads this, but I'll probably just have to send him the link.

So if you're shopping for a mom, sister or best friend, or just need a few things for your own list, you've come to the right place!

Emily Ley Simplified Planner – If I could meet anyone I follow on Instagram, it would be Emily Ley. She truly understands working mamas of little ones, and busy women in general. I'm switching to her planner in January. It's ideal for simplifying this hectic life! Update 2019: I've used her Simplified Planner for 4 years and I love it! I'll be using this one in 2020!

Silhouette Cameo – I really love having this tool in my crafting arsenal. I don't reach for it daily, but when I need a big farmhouse sign or a large wooden sign, it's worth its weight in gold. I've owned it for a few years and would buy it again in a heartbeat. I bet your mom, sister or even you (hint, hint, hubby) would love one too! You can find most of my Silhouette projects here!

Hunter High Gloss Rain Boots – I've wanted a pair for ages. Every time it rains I think, I need those pretty boots ... right now! Everybody needs a pair!

Preserved Boxwood Wreath – I own a preserved boxwood wreath and adore the look! I've hung it on my kitchen chalkboard and my entryway mirror, and now it lives on my DIY Christmas card holder. It's one of my favorite things! Maybe one for your list?

Slippers – I splurged on these a few years ago, and they were one of the best decisions I've made for my feet! They are so comfortable! If you want something more budget-friendly, these are a good option too.

Green Glass Drop Earrings – These cute earrings are a little smaller than mine, which is exactly why I love them. And they're gold. Enough said. I think they'd make a fabulous gift for a sister.

Plaid Blanket Scarf – Whoever made wearing blankets as accessories a trend deserves a big thumbs up from me. I've been swooning over plaid for years. All my love!

Stainless Steel Cold Cup – My favorite way to sip flavored water. (I add a drop of tangerine essential oil to mine.) AND ... if you get a Silhouette for Christmas, you can personalize it just like I did right here!

Poppin Pens – Y'all, I'm a total pen snob. There, I said it. I only use Poppin pens because they glide so smoothly! I keep them stashed in every drawer and a handful in my purse so I never run out. Tie a pretty bow around a few and your co-worker will adore you forever.

Floral Measuring Cups – Honestly, who doesn't need a set of lovely floral measuring cups? Baking would be so much prettier with these in hand. They're perfect for a gift exchange with a friend or the baker in your life!

Chi Flat Iron – Without my flat iron, my hair would be a wild, frizzy mess. The problem is my old non-Chi flat iron is on its last legs. I'm putting this one on my list so nobody gets startled when they run into me at Hobby Lobby. Updated 2019: I recently splurged on this fantastic hair straightener. It styles my hair faster and more easily than any other straightener I've owned. Best of all, it gives me the MOST frizz-free look I've ever had. It's worth the splurge!

The Inspired Room – I received this book a few weeks ago, and as the title suggests, it's wonderfully inspiring. I love Melissa's home and the way she encourages (and motivates) us to love the home we already have! Your family and friends will enjoy this book!

Brass Pineapple Trinket Dish – What's not to love? Seriously. This would be darling in my stocking. (Coach ... please pay attention.) Updated 2019: Got it, love it!

Godiva Chocolate – no explanation needed. (Milk chocolate truffles are my favorite!) Stuff it in my stocking.
