Finding budget-friendly ways to update your home can be tough. I get discouraged when I compare my decor or improvement budget with my wish list! I'm sure I'm not alone, right?!
My friend Emily recently shared a very budget-friendly wall art idea she used in her new craft and sewing room. She's going to hang them on the wall in a cute grouping, but I grabbed them and set them on her bookshelf to show you. Maybe once she has them up on the wall, I can take another photo and share that look too.

She simply used some of these Magnolia Market Hymn Cards her mom picked up for her on a recent trip to Waco. Luckily, they sell them online too! You can grab some here.

Then Emily went to Michael's and picked up some wooden dollar frames. She quickly brushed on a coat of gray paint. She didn't bother with full coverage, instead giving them a light, rustic, weathered look.

Once the paint was dry, she tucked the cards in the backs of the frames and they were ready to go! They're so light that you could hang them with Command strips or another wall adhesive. This is a great option if you want to decorate a wall without putting holes in it.

Aren't these so cute?!

You could use any inspirational cards or sweet notes from your kids or grandkids. I didn't know anything about these dollar frames from Michael's, but apparently she uses them for all sorts of quick projects. I love that you can paint them any color that suits your decor.

I love an easy, budget-friendly project. Don't you?!
