My research for my next room project led me to the place for farmhouse living room ideas! If you're looking for ideas too, my gathering is your gain. Here are 10 stunning examples with farmhouse-style inspiration for days.

When I was thinking about refreshing my farmhouse-style living room, I wanted ideas from some seriously talented decorators. I looked for inspiration on everything from colors and furniture pieces to layouts, neutral rugs and more!

Beautiful Modern Farmhouse Living Room Inspiration
When I plan to redo a room, the first thing I do is gather inspiration. That means browsing Pinterest and flipping through my favorite decor magazines.
I save anything that catches my eye, either on a private Pinterest board or cut out and tucked into a folder. Once I have several dozen inspiring interiors, I spread them out to find the common threads. I look for similar colors, textures, furniture styles, accessories and wall treatments.
Looking for ideas for a living room that brings in modern farmhouse design was so much fun! I discovered some new, gorgeous blogs and Instagram feeds along the way, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Final Thoughts
Aren't these homes just gorgeous? I love the pretty neutrals, blues and greens. I've long loved the farmhouse look, as shown by the Pottery Barn catalogs that covered my floors back when I was in high school. My love for blues and greens really goes well with rustic farmhouse style. I'm not completely farmhouse, because I also love the more modern, industrial look. Still, I think it all works together!
