Outdoor Holiday Decor
For years my girls have begged me to put up some fun outdoor holiday decor. Last year I agreed to put some light-up deer figures in our side yard. We back up to a mountain with real deer, so adding some deer to our yard feels classy and cute.
So this year I set out early to find the perfect yard deer statue to complement our exterior during the holiday season. And I found the cutest rattan light-up buck at the Black Friday Buildup sale! The buck was so easy to assemble, and I had him ready to bring cheer to our side yard in no time.
I'll probably add a few more deer later on, like this mama and baby set, but for now he looks so handsome and stately with his red bow blowing in the wind. He was easy to assemble and install with the provided tools and accessories.
I also grabbed an outdoor timer and extension cord! It's so easy to set and forget outdoor decor with these timers. I love that this one has two plugs and a plastic cover to protect it from the elements.
I love the red bow with its pop of color. And the buck looks so pretty even when the lights aren't on. I knew I wanted one that looked good during the day as well as at night.
And while I haven't gone all out on inflatable Christmas decor (yet!), I have some other favorite outdoor decor from the Black Friday Buildup at Lowe's that's on sale this month!
I live just down the street from my Lowe's, so I shop there all the time. It's my go-to when I'm in the middle of a project and need to quickly grab something I forgot. From paint to tools to materials and garden supplies, I'm a frequent visitor.

Outdoor Garland for Sale
I grabbed an outdoor pre-lit garland for the lamppost in my side yard too. I used a bow I already had, but I can't wait to let it all light up the neighborhood this holiday season!
I simply attach the garland to the top of the lamppost and then wrap it around until it reaches the ground. I love this little lamppost in our side yard, so cute and quaint. (It might need a fresh coat of black paint. Good thing I know where to get some.)
This is a plug-in garland, which I've never used here before. And now that I have electricity running to the deer on this side of the yard, it won't be hard to run another small extension cord over to the lamppost. I just need to grab another one at Lowe's before the HOA lets me turn on my Christmas lights!

My Washing Machine on Sale
While perusing the sales, I noticed my washing machine was included! I bought it exactly 2 years ago and have loved it ever since! A good washing machine is a mom's best friend.
One week a repairman left me in a pinch when he didn't show up to fix my old broken washing machine. So late one Friday afternoon, I quickly researched the best washer my Lowe's had in stock, bought it online for pickup and sent my husband to get it on his way home from work! A Lowe's employee helped him load it into his truck, and that night we installed it ourselves. It's a great machine, and even better on sale!
