It’s here—the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale preview is live and I’m so excited to share my picks! This sale is one of the best times of the year to score new-season clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty essentials and a few home picks at significant discounts. Over the years I’ve found wardrobe staples and home favorites during this event, so I wanted to highlight the items I already own and love that are on sale again this year.
As an influencer cardholder I’ll be able to shop early on July 16. Cardholders in general have early access during the cardholder window, and public access begins on July 28. If you’re considering early access, weigh the pros and cons before applying for a store card.

Scoop Neck T-shirt – I own this lightweight tee in several colors. It layers well under jackets and cardigans and works great on its own in warmer months.
Plush Throw Blanket – I gifted this blanket to friends and family last holiday season and it’s consistently a favorite for cozying up at home.
Boyfriend Jeans – These stretchy boyfriend jeans are comfortable and versatile for year-round wear. I like them so much I bought the shorts version too.
Silk Scrunchies – A nightly staple to keep hair fresh between washes. These scrunchies minimize creases and are gentle on hair.
Cross-Body Bag – I own this bag in leather and love it. It’s the perfect size for everyday essentials and travels well.
Short Hunter Boots – Ideal for rainy fall and spring days. Easy to slip on and comfortable without making your feet too warm.
T3 Flat Iron – I’ve used my T3 flat iron for several years and it still performs like new—worth every penny if you style your hair often.

- Set a budget. It’s easy to get swept up in deals—decide what you’ll spend before you start.
- Audit your fall and winter wardrobe. Look for gaps you actually need to fill (a new pair of jeans, a bootie, a coat) to avoid buying duplicates.
- Shop early on the first day and order online. If sizing is uncertain, order two sizes and return the one that doesn’t fit. Nordstrom’s shipping and return process is one of the easiest.
- If you plan to use a Nordstrom card, consider choosing your purchase date as a double-points day to maximize rewards.
- Shop top brands and categories first so you don’t miss out. Highly sought-after brands and the women’s jeans, shoes/booties and beauty categories often sell out quickly.
Why I Love Shopping the #NSale
I discovered the Anniversary Sale in 2017 and quickly understood the hype. The appeal is simple: brand-new seasonal items offered at significant discounts before the season even begins. For an online shopper like me, Nordstrom’s free shipping and free returns make it effortless to try pieces at home. I often order multiple sizes to test fit and comfort and return what doesn’t work.
In 2018 I decided to get the Nordstrom card for early access, which helped me snag items before public access. Over the years I’ve found that buying high-quality basics during this sale delivers huge value for wardrobe building.
What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is one of the biggest retail events of the year for clothing, beauty and home. It highlights new fall merchandise at reduced prices for a limited time, making it an excellent opportunity to stock up on fall and winter essentials at lower prices than you’ll see later in the season. After the sale ends, most items return to full price.
Early access is reserved for Nordstrom cardholders, so many of the most popular items can sell out during that window. If a particular item has been on your wish list, early access can be helpful—just be mindful of your budget and spending habits.
