Spring has arrived! Freshen up your front porch with the newest & cutest spring doormats!
A few years ago I switched up my front door mat situation. I followed the charming trend of layering a cute larger outdoor rug with a smaller doormat on top. I love the look! It makes my front stoop & outdoor rug feel like an extension of my home and gives an otherwise plain space a fresh lift.
I thought this typographic doormat was perfect for the chilly, gloomy months. "Come in + Get cozy," dear friends. I just hoped passersby wouldn't take it as a personal invitation. So far, so good, and it looks invitingly cheerful (to the right people) in the process.
And the black and cream plaid rug is just the cutest, right? I bought the 2'7" x 5' size, which fits perfectly on my front stoop!

But as I was photographing my new spring wreath, I realized the cozy "come in" message didn't quite fit this warmer weather (and the hot days ahead), so I decided to swap my top mat and put the cozier one away until next winter.
