Add timeless charm to your holiday décor with these free classic Christmas printables! You’ll find lovely trees, nutcrackers, holly and more, all framed in cozy tartan borders. Ideal for easy, budget-friendly Christmas decorating with frames you already own.
There’s something about a classic Christmas that makes my heart skip a happy beat. The tartan plaid, the evergreen boughs, the nutcrackers standing at attention… it all feels like stepping into a cozy holiday storybook. This year I wanted to bring that timeless charm into our homes, and what better way than with a fresh set of classic Christmas printables?

These sweet little pieces were inspired by the look I’m loving in my own home this season: a mix of traditional red, deep greens, a touch of navy, and that Ralph Lauren-style Christmas feel I just can’t shake. They’re simple, nostalgic, and so easy to slip into frames you already have on hand.
And the best part? They’re completely free, because making your home feel warm and welcoming shouldn’t be complicated or expensive. (Find the download link at the end of the post!)
It’s been quite a few years since I made new Christmas printables, but this year the Ralph Lauren Christmas trend inspired me! I hope you’ll love the classic vibes and want to add them to your home this year, too!

A Look at This Year’s Collection
This year’s printable set includes a handpicked mix of hand-drawn trees, nutcrackers, holly sprigs, and sweet little mini potted trees that look right at home on a charming traditional mantel. Each design is framed in a lovely red tartan border: classic, cozy and oh-so-festive.
You can hang them solo or group them for a collected gallery-wall look. I slipped mine into a mix of gold frames, and they instantly added the layered, traditional charm I love.

Here’s what’s included:
- Trios of classic evergreen trees
- Small tree in a blue-and-white chinoiserie pot (vertical and horizontal versions)
- Watercolor holly sprig
- Trio of nutcrackers (with and without Feliz Navidad)
- Tree with a ribbon topper and Merry Christmas banner
They’re sweet and simple, perfect for mantels, entryways, kitchen shelves, or even tucked onto a bedroom nightstand for a quiet little Christmas moment.
I made several similar versions so you can pick and choose your favorites. Some are horizontal and some are vertical, so you can select the prints that best fit your frames.

Printing Tips
These printables are designed to print at 5 x 7, but you can also print them in other sizes; they may just need to be cropped a little differently. I printed mine at 8×10 and it turned out fine. I just had to center it when I submitted it for printing.
I also used Shutterfly to print my free printables this year and tried their cardstock option. It costs more than traditional photo paper, but the quality is excellent, and I think the printables will last for years. So if you want long-lasting art, give the Shutterfly cardstock option a try.
If you’re printing at home, I recommend using good-quality cardstock. It helps them last longer, and the paper won’t be see-through. They just look better. Trust me!
I also love having a good color printer at home. I bought this wireless color printer YEARS ago and I LOVE it! I print something almost every day, and the ink lasts 6 months! (The ink is cheaper and lasts longer than my old color printer. Yay!!) If you need one at a lower price point, I’ve heard good things about this one.

Easy, Budget-Friendly Christmas Décor
If you’ve been around here a while, you know I firmly believe holiday decorating doesn’t have to be expensive. These printables are my favorite way to refresh a space without buying a single new decor piece.
Just print, frame and enjoy. Truly, it’s that simple.
Here’s how I like to use them:
- Swap them into frames you already own for an instant seasonal refresh
- Arrange them in a gallery cluster for big impact with minimal effort
- Lean smaller prints on shelves or bookcases for a layered, cozy look
- Set them out on kitchen counters, paired with a cutting board and a sprig of greenery
- Give them to a friend (perfect little neighbor gifts when paired with cookies!)
Add natural greenery, a pinecone or two, and a strand of twinkly lights, and suddenly your home feels like a warm hug.

The Heart Behind the Decor
The older I get, the more I crave the slower, simpler parts of the season: the candlelight, the hymns, the moments around the table with my family. These small touches of beauty throughout our home help me pause and enjoy it all a little more.
My hope is that these printables bring that same cozy joy into your home this Christmas. Nothing perfect, nothing fussy, just classic, meaningful, love-gathered style.
