Should you close in the space above your kitchen cabinets? Here are the pros and cons of closing the space above the cabinets!
I have that small dusty space above my cabinets, like most people. And it's not big enough to store anything up there. Not that I'd know what to put up there even if it was bigger.
Lately I've been giving a lot of thought to how I want to update my kitchen. (You can follow my kitchen Pinterest board HERE.) And one idea I keep seeing is closing in the space above the cabinets.

I've since moved from the house with open space above my cabinets. I never did close it in, but I should have!
Our new house has a closed space above the cabinets, and I love it! It's just empty space up there, but it draws the eye up to the ceiling. It makes the room look taller. And there's no dust up there to clean!! It's perfect.
And if I ever move into a house again with space above the cabinets, I'll be closing them in right away!
