It seems Santa is arriving early this year! The epic 4-day PRIME DEALS of the YEAR event kicks off TODAY and I am HERE. FOR. IT! That’s right, friends, it’s Amazon Prime Deals Week! Yay!!

The Frame TV

We love our Frame TV so much that we’ve bought two over the years, and I’m going to buy another one for our bedroom, too! It’s currently 34% off, the lowest I’ve seen it! (I have a full Frame TV review here.)

My Favorite Skincare

In case you missed it, Amazon Prime Day is a global shopping event running for just 4 days, July 8-11, 2024, where Amazon Prime Members get some amazing steals and deals!

Technically the “day” lasts 96 hours and rivals Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. Other major retailers like Target, Walmart and Best Buy typically counter with their own great deals on the same days.

Prime Day is a great time to stock up on holiday or other gifts. Many of the gift ideas in my gift guides come from Amazon, so check them out and start making your lists!!

How to Shop Prime Day Like a Boss!

Download the Amazon app and browse the best deals under “today’s deals”
Check the “upcoming deals” section and tap “watch this deal” to get phone notifications when deals go live. This is the BEST way not to miss the top deals, since some sell out in under a minute!
In past years, Prime Day deals were marked with a blue box and black type (and on the product page you’ll see “deal of the day” selected).
“Lightning deals” are short sales lasting just a few hours. They’re quick sales on popular items, limited to 1 per customer until quantities run out or the deal ends. Check out quickly (within 10 minutes) after adding the item to your cart, because these tend to sell out fast. If too many people add the item to their carts, you may see a “waiting list” option. If you select it and someone doesn’t complete their purchase, you’ll have a limited time to buy the item. Some items move to “waiting list” status almost immediately.

If there’s one thing I know, it’s that moms like me (and grandmas and dads and sisters and pretty much everybody) love Amazon Prime. (Hello, your top 25 purchases from the past year are pretty impressive!) I mean, this mom runs on coffee, Target and Amazon Prime, just like the t-shirt says. I’ve been a member of Amazon Prime for as long as I can remember, because who doesn’t love ordering something quickly and having it arrive at your door in just a few days?

When does the sale start? All the wheelin’ and dealin’ kicks off at 12 AM PT (3 AM EST) on Tuesday, July 8, and runs through midnight on Friday, July 11. It typically takes place in mid-July and again around Black Friday every year.
What kinds of things will be on sale? Think of it as Black Friday at another time of year. You’ll find mostly Amazon devices (like the Echo I love for making my home more efficient), TVs, home appliances, mattresses & vacuums, toys, baby products, school supplies, and some fashion & beauty.
Do I Need to Be an Amazon Prime Member? Yes, you need to be a Prime member to take advantage of these deals. If you’re not one yet, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial. (Psst, you can always cancel before the trial ends.)
Is Prime Membership Worth It? Absolutely! I’ve been a Prime member for as long as I can remember. I always order from Amazon because the fast, free shipping is hard to beat! You also get access to Prime Video & Music, exclusive savings, discounts and deals (like Prime Day and special coupons). The benefits go well beyond this one event!
