Discover an easy way to lift sticker residue off clothing using one simple item, with no harm to the fabric!
I can't stand when nice clothes get ruined. In our house the usual suspects are a pen left in a pocket, a child eating red, orange, or blue foods, or sticker residue. Honestly, it happens constantly! I spend far more time than I'd like trying to get stained clothes clean and wearable again.

The other day I pulled my daughter's nearly new shirt from the dryer and found sticker residue on it, and I was pretty upset. In the past I've struggled with sticker residue, even spending ages scraping off every tiny bit with my fingernail.
No thanks! I'd rather spend an afternoon at IKEA with my two kids alone than pick residue off clothing. (But I'm also too thrifty to throw the shirt away.)
But then it hit me!
What a lightbulb moment! The answer had been right under my nose the entire time!
It's also pure and natural, with no harsh chemicals, so I don't have to worry about putting harsh, toxic products on my daughter's clothes.
It's such an easy fix that I can't believe it never occurred to me before.
I've used this item before to lift grease stains from clothing, and to remove sticker residue from all sorts of things. You know when a price tag is stuck to something? I reach for it constantly for that!
So it made perfect sense that it would not only remove sticker residue but also be safe for clothing.
Ready for the big reveal?
Lemon Essential Oil! Nature's own “Goo Gone,” of course.

Yep, that's how simple it is.
I put a few drops on each spot and let the oil soak in briefly. Then I scraped the residue off with my fingernails, and this time it came right off instead of clinging on for dear life!
It works on gum too! My oldest daughter came home recently with gum all over the hem of her favorite pants. A bit of lemon oil and it wiped right off!

I made certain every trace of residue was gone, then washed the shirt again. It's good as new now!

I'm so glad I thought it through and found a way to save this shirt.
Now I just need to tackle the week-old spaghetti sauce on little sister's cutest summer outfit.
She only wore it once. (Naturally.)
