Hate wrestling sheets onto a bunk bed or loft bed? These great zip-up bedding sets from Beddy’s are the ideal fix for any bed, especially one that is tricky to make!
My girls had been asking for bunk beds for years! In our old house it just wasn’t practical, since the rooms were quite small, and I kind of liked that each of them had her own space.
Until they started school together this past fall, they kept different sleep schedules. I also dreaded making up a bunk bed every day. No thanks!
Fast forward to today. We’re in a new house with bigger rooms. They’ve kept the same sleep schedule all school year, and they’ve shared a room for the last 6 months with no problems. They love it, and so do I!
The Best Bunk Bed Bedding
So when it was time to shop for bunk beds (or a loft bed with a bed underneath, in our case), I knew I needed a good bedding solution. I wasn’t going to climb up every day and fight with the sheets and comforter.

Enter Beddy’s: the all-in-one bedding solution for bunk beds, loft beds and regular beds too! Each set is a fitted sheet, flat sheet and comforter in one piece, so anyone can make a bed look great with one simple zip.
I was intrigued the first time I saw them, and I vowed I’d never buy bunk beds without them!
Neither of my girls has ever really used a flat sheet. They always kicked it down to the foot of the bed and slept under their comforter. Now that the flat sheet and comforter are one piece, it’s the ideal solution!

I got the “Love at First White” all-cotton sets, which are white on the outside with a fun crinkly texture. The inside cotton sheets have a gorgeous gold script “goodnight” and “good morning” print. I love how well it works with their decor.
I wanted all-white bedding because their walls are pink. See the girls’ full vision board for more about the plans for their room makeover.

My girls can now zip up the sides of their bedding with no trouble, which makes my job so much easier because I’m not bribing two kids to wrestle their sheets back on every night. (Honestly, my older daughter used to spend 15 minutes before bed putting her old sheets and comforter back in place. Now they stay put and just need zipping!)
Each bedding set includes pillowcases and shams too. The full set I bought has two pillowcases and two shams, so it’s a complete bedding set.
They come in every size from toddler to king, and they’re ideal for any bed, especially ones that are tricky to make!

The Loft Bed and Full Bed
When I was hunting for the right beds for my girls, I knew we wanted a full staircase my daughter could use to climb down in the middle of the night. Going down a ladder in the dark seemed a bit scary to me, so we narrowed the search to a bunk bed or loft bed with stairs.

Some sets offer extra storage built into the stairs, which would be nice. But the bed we chose doesn’t have that. (I do love that there’s room for storage under the full bed below, in case you need it!)
In the end I chose this loft bed with a separate full bed beneath it. That way, if the girls ever decide they don’t want to share a room, we can easily split them up. The space under the loft bed will become an extra spot for hanging out or playing.
Another thing I love about this loft bed is the desk with two small drawers on the side opposite the stairs. It’s ideal as a homework station or a place to draw or write in their room.

Lastly, I love that both beds are full size, so they can grow into them for years. The Simply White finish matches my oldest daughter’s old trundle bed from Pottery Barn Kids, as well as her tall dresser, so that was a big factor in choosing this bed set too.
I’m still waiting on a desk chair to arrive, and I want to get the room arrangement right before I decorate the walls. But the room is coming together (their DIY bookshelves fit perfectly beside the desk area, and their new ceiling fan is safer), and we love that it feels more and more like them!
