Spring is warming things up (or heating them up here in the South), so it's time to turn our attention to those charming front porches! These front porch decorating ideas will inspire you to tackle your own space, whether it's large or small. Doesn't a glass of sweet tea and a good book sound perfect on a gorgeous, well-decorated front porch? And a swinging bed? Yes, ma'am! I'll take one!!
We don't have a front porch, but we have a nice screened-in back porch that's just waiting to be freshened up for spring. I plan to get some work done out there soon, so I've been gathering inspiration.
Last year when we had the house trim painted white, we also had the ceiling painted a haint blue: Sea Salt by Sherwin Williams. It's hard to tell in photos, but it's really pretty in person.
It's so fun to gather ideas about lighting, furniture, rugs, plants, accessories and colors to inspire our own makeovers. I've rounded up some fun sources for cute porch decor at the end of this post, so be sure to check those out!

The robin's egg blue of this porch swing stole my heart right away, and it has me dreaming up all the ways I could work a pretty blue swing into my own outdoor space. I love the soothing sway of rocking back and forth. The breeze while swinging on a hot southern summer day doesn't hurt either!
