I've found some great, affordable winter fashion finds that I know you'll love!
As much as I love summer, spring, and fall, my wardrobe really shines in the colder months. Sweater weather has my heart! It's just soooo cozy!
For the past few years, I've found great quality pieces for my wardrobe at Walmart. The prices are affordable and the styles are cute! I wore a dress I found this summer to my cousin's wedding, and it was so comfortable that I felt great in it. And at only $30, it made my wallet happy, too!
For reference, I'm 5'7″, normally wear an XL in tops, a 14-16 in jeans, and a size 11 shoe.
Last winter I found a great sweater that I still wear all the time, so I wanted to add to my collection this year!
I've been looking for a pretty green sweater for the holidays and winter, and I finally found one! Let me show you.
The three tops I got from the Free Assembly line are so cute and of such great quality! The Levi Strauss jeans in straight and bootcut feel just like my other higher-priced jeans. Let me share what I got, along with some full outfit ideas!
First up is this mid-weight green cable knit sweater. It comes in several other colors, including a merlot red. It's a nice light to mid weight, so it's perfect for layering under blazers, sweaters, vests, and jackets. I paired it with flare jeans (size 14 Plus) and a wedge faux leather boot. It's so easy to throw together for a casual winter look that also works for the holidays! Watch my Instagram stories for the video version of me trying them on.
I did go up one size in the sweater because I didn't want it to cling, and that was the right call. The fit is perfect!
Shop Favorite Tops
This next sweater is one of my favorites from the Time & Tru brand. It's an oversized cable knit mock-neck sweater that's super cute and feels so cozy. I paired it with basic black leggings, socks, and a Chelsea boot. If you have thicker ankles, go up a size in the shoe. Everything else fits true to size!
Shop Favorite Jeans
Then I picked up an adorable Fair Isle sweater that's so soft and cozy! The neutral colors mean it will work until February or even March. The turtleneck isn't too tight, but I like to tuck it in so it doesn't stand too tall. The sweater runs true to size.
And the bootcut jeans feel like my higher-end pairs. I've shared these ankle boots before, but they're comfortable, run true to size, and are a great neutral shoe.
Lastly, I chose this beautiful heavyweight satin flutter-sleeve top and some straight-leg jeans that I cuffed at the bottom. I paired them with a ballet flat slipper with a gold embellishment. This would be great for a festive daytime holiday party. If it's chilly outside, just throw a cardigan or jacket over it, and add a festive earring for a full holiday look!
