My home needed something fresh and autumnal, so I created this last week because I love celebrating being blessed and grateful this season. We have so much to be thankful for! See how I displayed it in my fall kitchen.

I've always loved hymns. Growing up, we went to church every time the doors opened: Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night. Sunday night was choir night, and from first grade until high school, I sang in choir every Sunday night.

When we were little, there was a hymn memory program called "hymn-n-M." The idea was simple: if you memorized the week's hymn and sang it for your teacher, you earned a fun-size pack of M-n-M's. If you know me at all, you know I'm a foodie, so of course I memorized every last song. #willsingforcandy

Thanks to my love of candy, I now adore all the old church hymns, since I have them memorized. This one is among my all-time favorites, along with "Be Thou My Vision." So good.
