Just as we were settling into our school routine, both of my children came down with an illness this week. Thankfully they are recovering now, and I’m hopeful we’ll all stay healthy through the holidays. It’s a reminder to slow down and be grateful for the little everyday comforts of home.
On a brighter note, I finished refinishing my daughter’s jewelry station and dresser, and it feels like such a satisfying win. Her room makeover is really coming together, and I’m eager to start the next project: my bedroom. There’s something energizing about returning to DIY projects and home updates after a busy season.
