Happy weekend! We kicked off the new school year this week, and although I always feel a little wistful when summer ends, I’m also ready to return to a predictable routine. With the kids back in school, my days have opened up a bit and I finally have time to tackle home projects that have been waiting all season.
Top of my list is a new wall treatment in our primary bedroom. I’ve been imagining trim molding to give the room more character and a finished, layered look. I’m still finalizing measurements and design details, but I hope to begin installation soon. I’ll share the full process from planning to paint so you can follow along if you’re considering something similar for your home.
The start of a school year always inspires me to reset the house, wrap up lingering projects, and start planning what’s next. With fall approaching, it’s the perfect moment for a gentle refresh—adding a few cozy layers, swapping out some summer accents, and preparing the home for the cooler months ahead.
