Pink and Turquoise Spring Mantel Decor Ideas

Hello friends — happy Friday! I’m thrilled to share my spring mantel with you. I always look forward to this season: it’s a time to bring soft, fresh colors and natural textures into the house. For this mantel I leaned into pinks and turquoise paired with botanical accents to create a lively, yet relaxed spring vignette. If you love seasonal decorating, I hope this gives you a few ideas to refresh your own space.

Be sure to read through to the end for the Ringing in Spring Home Tour — there are many more beautiful homes and decorating ideas featured that you won’t want to miss.

Last year I kept the mantel very simple, but this year I embraced florals and a brighter palette — turquoise, soft pink, and natural greens — to bring a cheerful spring feeling to the living room. I combined vintage-inspired pieces with a few modern touches so the overall look feels collected and approachable.

Here are the photos — enjoy the close-ups and the layered styling that makes the mantel feel fresh and welcoming.

I also refreshed the small table beneath my gallery wall to coordinate with the mantel. I moved the turquoise watering can over to that spot because I love the color and it instantly reads as a spring accent. I found the watering can in the gardening section at Target, and it provides a playful, seasonal touch without overwhelming the space.

The lamp shade you see was a simple makeover: I used fabric scraps and materials I had on hand to recover an older shade I wasn’t thrilled with. It’s an easy, budget-friendly update that softens the light and ties the colors together—I’ll post a step-by-step tutorial on Monday so you can recreate it yourself.

Styling tips for a fresh spring mantel

1. Start with a neutral foundation. Use a mirror or artwork and build outward from that anchor piece so the focal point remains balanced.

2. Layer different heights and textures. Mix ceramic vases, a small framed print, natural elements (like faux or real florals and a small nest), and a sculptural object such as a bicycle or ceramic bird to create visual interest.

3. Limit your color palette. Choosing two main colors (in my case turquoise and pink) plus natural greens keeps the arrangement cohesive and prevents it from feeling busy.

4. Add seasonal accents that are easy to swap. Small touches like twine-wrapped jars, a simple box with a “grow” sign, or a pastel lampshade can be changed out quickly as the season progresses.

5. Edit. Step back and remove anything that competes with your focal point. A calm, edited mantel always looks more intentional and stylish.
