Welcome to my Christmas home tour! This annual post is one of my favorites to share, and I’m so happy it’s finally ready for you to enjoy.
Between painting cabinets and caring for my two little ones, finding time to decorate, tidy up and take photos was a real challenge. I even bribed my almost five-year-old with $.75 to keep her sister in her room while I snapped these shots—best money spent all season. 🙂

Decorating and sharing our home for the holidays is pure joy for me. Full disclosure: with an 11-month-old who explores everything, the house doesn’t look this pristine all the time—just for the thirty minutes it took to get these photos!
I’m also excited to join 20+ bloggers this week to share holiday homes—don’t miss the links at the end of this post, and be sure to enter our $500 giveaway!

This year I envisioned a simple mantel with a large star and a hand-lettered sign. I’ll share the pallet sign tutorial tomorrow, but I made the lettering with my Silhouette Cameo. The mantel’s clean, uncluttered look proves that a few larger pieces can be more effective than lots of small accents.
I also added a new flocked tree from Walmart—one of my favorite updates this season. It brings a cozy, wintry feel to the living room.

I couldn’t resist a burlap and pine cone wreath from Lowe’s. It was perfect straight out of the box and even has tiny LED lights—though I haven’t decided whether to use them yet.

Festive pillows add fun and personality—like the playful Falalalalala pillow and the cheerful “Joy” sign I placed nearby. I’ve mixed new finds with pieces repurposed from last year for a fresh but familiar look.

I reused bow accents on the lamps and most decor from last year, and I grabbed faux poinsettias in Target’s Dollar Spot for quick, affordable flair. The galvanized centerpiece came from Hobby Lobby, and it anchors the dining vignette nicely.

A sweet tree-print buggy from a fellow blogger’s shop added a charming touch—her prints are adorable and fit perfectly with the traditional theme.

For now I’ve pulled my desk into the living room—practical for our current season of life. I believe in having a dedicated workspace, but sometimes the best layout is the one that actually works for your daily routine.

I bought burlap stockings from a local shop last year and still love their simple look. Similar designs are widely available for a rustic, neutral touch.

Pillows are an easy way to switch up seasonal decor. I used a sparkly “JOY” pillow from Target and mixed it with a car-with-tree pillow from last year and a navy plaid I made from cloth napkins—there’s a simple tutorial if you want to try it yourself.

I wrapped a few cozy pajamas for the girls and tucked them into their stockings. We started a tradition last year of opening a set of pajamas before Christmas—why not enjoy them for a few nights leading up to the holiday?

My flocked tree is decorated simply with red garland, burlap and poinsettia ornaments, and wooden skis I found in Target’s Dollar Spot—little touches that feel both classic and cozy.
The deer art I used on a side wall transitions beautifully into winter decor once the holiday items come down.

I also introduced a new gallery wall above the Everett console table. I meant to fill the frames with family photos but ran out of time—gift bags and wrapping paper patterns do double duty for now and give a playful, festive look.
To hide a DIY abstract art piece, I wrapped it like a present and added a bow—an easy trick for seasonal styling.

I filled frames above my desk with free printables for a cheerful, budget-friendly display. And the chicken wire Christmas card holder I built last year is still one of my favorite DIYs—simple to make with 1x2s and a heavy-duty staple gun (ask a helper to hold the wire while you attach it).

Thank you for stopping by to tour our home dressed for the holidays. I hope these ideas inspire your own traditional Christmas decorating—simple touches, a few meaningful pieces, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.
