I hope you had a wonderful time last weekend celebrating Independence Day if you're here in the U.S.! I know I have readers from all over the world, so I won't assume everyone was celebrating the Fourth of July.
We had such a fun weekend filled with family, good food, fireworks… and plenty of mahjong! It's become one of my favorite ways to spend time together, and we definitely squeezed in a few games while everyone was around.
This week we're wrapping up summer swim team, which always feels like the unofficial start of the transition to a new season. Even though school is still a few weeks away, I'm already starting to think about back-to-school shopping. I know it feels early, but I've learned that getting a head start makes those last few weeks of summer so much less stressful.
And speaking of planning ahead, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale kicks off this week! It's one of my favorite times of year to stock up on fall wardrobe staples, shoes, and beauty favorites while they're discounted before prices go back up.
