Holiday Prep: Thanksgiving Table Ideas and Entryway Decor

We enjoyed a perfect Halloween evening — cool, dry weather, a half day at school for the kids, and it fell on a Friday. It was the ideal night for trick-or-treating. My younger daughter and I strolled the neighborhood with the dog while she collected a whopping 13 pounds of candy (we’re donating most of it). I love how this season brings neighbors and friends together and sets the tone for the cozy months ahead.

Now that November has arrived, it’s officially holiday preparation time. I’m diving into decorations this weekend and can’t wait to share my 2025 Christmas theme soon. If you missed last year’s non-traditional tree reveal, I highlighted an orange, blue, and brown holiday look that was a fun departure from the usual palettes.

This week’s Home Style Saturday #476 is packed with seasonal inspiration: easy Thanksgiving table ideas, practical Christmas prep tips, a festive entryway tour, a cozy cabin renovation, and over 60 ways to prepare for the holidays. Each feature is full of approachable, timeless ideas you can adapt to your home.
