Recently I replaced the living room fan with a rustic farmhouse-style model that features mason-jar-style glass globes and warm wood-blade tones. The price was excellent, and the simple, classic styling fits our home perfectly.
Updating this fan completed the lighting refresh in our open-concept living area after replacing the kitchen and entryway fixtures. It’s rewarding to see everything come together—this update was long overdue, but worth the wait.

Pros to the Hunter Crown Canyon 52-inch Ceiling Fan
This Hunter Crown Canyon fan impressed me right away. It runs quietly and shows no wobble, which I attribute to a sturdy, well-built base and quality engineering. Even though the fixture feels substantial, it was easier to install than I expected thanks to a smart hanging design that supports the fan while you make the wiring connections.
The installers appreciated the extra room at the ceiling to maneuver the wiring instead of having to stuff everything into the junction box. My husband said it was the easiest ceiling fan installation he’s ever done. The light from the mason-jar-style globes is warm and inviting—not overly bright—and the fan moves a surprising amount of air for its size.
Compared with the previous fixture—which had a few damaged blades and simply wasn’t my style—the new fan brings cohesion and personality to the room. I find myself noticing it in photos now instead of cropping it out!
Overall, the Hunter Crown Canyon offers solid performance, an attractive farmhouse aesthetic, and a surprisingly straightforward installation—good value for the price.
