Autumn has arrived, and with it comes cooler days, comforting soups, and the simple pleasure of letting the slow cooker do the work. I love this season for easy, cozy routines—tossing ingredients into the crock pot, pulling on a sweater, and walking into a home that feels intentionally warm and inviting.
Around the house I’ve added a few subtle fall accents. Each year I lean toward fewer decorations, but selecting a few meaningful pieces—like my favorite fall throw pillows—instantly creates a seasonal mood without overwhelming the space. Small updates, thoughtful textures, and a restrained palette go a long way toward crafting a cozy autumn home.
This week I also started refreshing my bedroom with a new paint color. There’s more to do—trim, textiles, and a few finishing touches—but my priority was to get the walls painted before the holiday rush. A fresh wall color can reset the entire room and make the rest of the updates fall into place.
