These navy & orange free fall printables are perfect for adding a cozy vibe to your home!
I’m slowly adding fall touches around the house this year, taking a more relaxed approach and enjoying a gentler pace. One small, effective way to switch seasonal décor is with framed printable art. I remembered a set of navy and orange fall printables I designed last year and decided they would be perfect for my kitchen.

In a tiny space between two windows above the small bar area behind my sink, I have two scalloped wicker frames that I adore. They create a cozy focal point in that corner of my kitchen and are perfect for seasonal art swaps. If you have any wall space near counters or a breakfast nook, a couple of framed printables can instantly change the look without much effort or expense.

Last year I wanted fall art with a darker background and ended up creating designs with a deep navy backdrop and pops of warm orange. The contrast felt cozy and sophisticated, and worked especially well in my home because I tend to use neutral tones and layered textures during the season. I also created a few gingham navy checked prints for a simpler pattern option.

I didn’t share these immediately last season because I made them late in the fall, but they’re ready now and I’m happy to share them this year. If you enjoy seasonal printable art, I keep a collection available through a free printable library on my site. That’s the best place to find all the printable art I’ve created for different holidays and seasons.

Tips for Printing Art
Printing digital art at home or through a print service can be straightforward if you keep a few practical tips in mind. These tips will help your printables look polished and frame-ready.
- Printer quality: If you print at home, use the best-quality print settings your printer offers. Dark, solid backgrounds like navy use a lot of ink, so check ink levels before printing large or multiple copies.
- Consider a copy shop: Because deep navy backgrounds can quickly use up home ink supplies, a local print shop or office print service can be an economical alternative. They can also provide heavier paper and more consistent color results.
- Use cardstock: Print on a heavier paper such as 80–110 lb cardstock for a professional feel. Regular printer paper is thin, can crinkle, and won’t sit nicely in a frame.
- Set scale to 100%: The printables are sized to print at 8.5″ x 11″ with some border space so you can trim them to fit an 8″ x 10″ mat or frame. If your frame requires exact dimensions, adjust the print scale in your printer dialog or crop and trim after printing.
- Trim carefully: Use a paper trimmer or a sharp craft knife and straight edge to get clean edges. Small, even margins give the piece a professional look once framed.
- Test print: If color accuracy matters, print a small test page first to confirm how the navy and orange tones render on your paper and printer. Adjust settings or choose a different paper type if needed.
- Protect prints: If you plan to store extras or rotate them seasonally, place printed pieces in a flat, dry folder or plastic sleeve to prevent warping or fading.

Note: Printing full navy backgrounds will consume more ink than light backgrounds. If you prefer to avoid heavy ink use at home, professional printing services are a good option and can offer heavier paper options and consistent color.
