Welcome to my Fall Home Tour!
Yesterday the humidity finally dropped and the high barely reached 79°F — such a relief. We even wore sweaters, jackets and boots for dinner last night. To celebrate the crisp change in the air, I picked up a few mums and started adding simple autumn touches around the house.

Ahhh — fall is finally here.
Fall has my heart, so I’m extra happy this morning, even if my little one woke up bright and early at 6 a.m. I love the mood this season brings and how easy it is to refresh a space with a few well-chosen accents.

I didn’t stage a perfectly styled arrival photo like other bloggers might — most of my decorating and photography happens in cozy sweats with my hair in a ponytail. Real life around here!

If you caught my fall mantel post, some of this will look familiar. For anyone new here: I’m six months pregnant, so my decorating this year is a bit simpler than in years past. Rather than overhaul everything, I focused on small, colorful additions that work with what I already own.

Instead of packing away my turquoise pieces, I added oranges, yellows and reds to the mix. The contrast is fresh and unexpected, and it lets me keep my signature palette while embracing autumnal warmth. This approach keeps decorating manageable and consistent with my overall style.

I did add a few new pieces, including a beautiful blue pumpkin watercolor by Lucy at Craftberry Bush. It blends beautifully with my blues and adds a soft, artistic touch to the season. I’ve placed another print on the mantel, where it pairs nicely with brass, wood and woven textures.

Below are photos from around the house — simple vignettes, layered textures and pops of color that feel seasonal without requiring a full redecorate. I’ll keep my narration brief so you can enjoy the pictures.

On a recent trip to the Smoky Mountains with friends, we made mason jar ring pumpkins — a simple, charming craft that I absolutely love. I’ve shared a step-by-step tutorial for them if you’d like to try: Mason Jar Lid Pumpkin.

Hello Fall Chalkboard Art

I found this vintage autumn tablecloth at a yard sale last year and love its colors. It’s draped over a dresser that’s currently in the living room while we rearrange furniture in preparation for our baby girl. I’m thinking about repurposing the fabric — maybe framing sections in embroidery hoops or using it in small craft projects.

And before you imagine a spotless show-home, know that life with a toddler is lively. After I finished cleaning and decorating one morning, Miss A — who’s three and a half — came in from preschool and exclaimed, “Oh mama! You cleaned up for me! I love it!!” That moment made the effort worth it. Toys and play scenes usually return within minutes, but for those fleeting moments the house feels cozy and festive.
