After a long, rainy winter I’m so grateful to see signs of spring. These floral-inspired decorations make me excited for the season ahead.
I finally finished decorating the house for spring and I’m thrilled to share the results. I love the seasonal reset—finding fresh ways to repurpose items I already own and thoughtfully adding a few new pieces. This year I realized I had more faux flowers than I could possibly use, so I embraced the abundance and created a flower-shop-inspired spring tour throughout the home.

I adore the look of fresh blooms, and until I can fill the house with real flowers, my fauxtanicals do the job beautifully. They’re low maintenance, versatile, and perfect for layering color and texture to achieve that cheerful spring market vibe.

Earlier I shared a spring tablescape full of florals. I wanted to highlight the tiered tray from that display—it’s usually styled in the living room, but I moved it into the dining room for now and I love the fresh energy it brings there.

I added faux blooms into galvanized buckets filled with lamb’s ear and cotton stems. I keep lamb’s ear and cotton in those buckets year-round, then swap in accents by season—lavender in summer, pomegranates at Christmas. It’s an easy, seasonal system that always looks intentional.

In the living room I enlarged one of my free spring printables into a 24″ x 36″ poster and placed it in a frame I already owned. I created a set of spring printables—ten designs that work wonderfully around the house, and several of them make appearances in the kitchen too.

I brought as many flowers indoors as possible to create a flower market atmosphere, and the result feels joyful and light. One printable displays a favorite quote: “Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower.” — Hans Christian Andersen. It sums up the mood perfectly.
Mr. Andersen — I couldn’t agree more!

Below are highlights from this spring tour—items and decor ideas that inspired the look. Use them as a guide when recreating a similar floral-filled spring vibe in your home.

A smaller version of the printable I used is also displayed on the mantel. These printables are simple, printable decor that add instant charm when framed or propped on a shelf.

In the kitchen I loaded open shelves with more faux flowers and a few of the printables, creating a cohesive flow from room to room. Open shelving is a great place to showcase seasonal accents and change the look in minutes.

A funny detail: I wouldn’t normally frame a photo with the trash can in view, but after getting a new stainless-steel can for Christmas I’m obsessed with it. It’s practical and looks polished, so it’s part of the everyday scene now.
If you’re looking for a small upgrade, a roomy trash can with a built-in bag holder feels like a pleasant little luxury—simple changes like that can make everyday tasks a little smoother.

This photo shows how I like to style the space for photos—pin it for inspiration if you want a pretty, curated shot of a floral-filled shelf.

A tulip blossom in a teacup and a heart-shaped succulent bulb print are two of the printable designs I used. One of the succulent prints has a faint “happy spring” message beside the heart. These small touches help tie the floral theme together throughout the rooms.

Thanks for stopping by my spring-decorated home. I hope the floral-filled rooms give you plenty of inspiration to refresh your own space for the season—whether you use faux blooms, real flowers, or a mix of both.
