Summer Favorites Printables: Crafts, Games and Recipes

Summertime brings salty sea air, poolside fun, and a lighthearted vibe—captured perfectly by these charming free summer printables. Four unique designs are ready to brighten your home and make you smile every time you pass by.

I love the loosened rhythm of summer. I call it “loosened” because life can feel a bit chaotic without a strict routine, but that’s part of the season’s charm. Between relaxed mornings, longer evenings and brighter colors, summer invites easy living and small pleasures.

I especially enjoy beach getaways, lazy pool days where reading feels like a luxury, casual gatherings with friends around a table or on a boat, fresh fruit and ice cream treats, and cooking on the grill—less clean-up and more quality time. If I didn’t need quiet alone time to recharge, I might declare summer my favorite season.

I also love sleeping in and the vivid colors that come alive this time of year. To celebrate the season, I designed four free summer printables for you to download and display. They’re cheerful, versatile, and perfect for updating a shelf, mantel, entryway or kitchen vignette.

Four Free Summer Printables

The first printable is part of a seasonal series. I’ve created favorites for winter and spring in past months, and now this summer design joins the collection with all the little things that make the season special. The style is bright and joyful, intended to pair well with casual summer decor.

There are three more designs to complement the main print: a playful “Beach This Way” sign with shells that makes a perfect summer shelf accent, a welcoming pineapple graphic that works year-round, and a vibrant watermelon print that reads “Sweet Summer-Time.” The palette is lively and ideal for adding a pop of color to a neutral space or enhancing an already colorful room.

These prints are designed to be simple to use—just download, print, trim if needed, and frame. The pineapple welcome print is deceptively versatile and can be displayed long after summer ends. The watermelon print’s saturated hues are especially nice for a casual dining nook or a kitchen gallery wall.

Please remember these free summer printables are for personal use only. I appreciate your respect for the design and the time that went into creating them.

Tips on Printing out Printable Decor

  • Printer choice: If you’ll be printing at home, use a reliable inkjet or laser printer with a good track record for color prints. For the deepest color and crisp edges, an inkjet designed for photo or color printing is ideal.
  • Use cardstock: Print on 65–110 lb (about 176–300 gsm) cardstock for a sturdy, frame-ready finish. Regular printer paper is too thin and often looks flimsy in a frame.
  • Print settings: Set the scale to 100% and choose the highest quality or photo setting available in your printer dialog. If your frame is 8×10 and the file prints on 8.5×11, trim the white border to fit the frame snugly.
  • Paper orientation and margins: The files are set to print with a small margin to allow for framing. If your print isn’t fitting, adjust the page scale slightly in the print preview, or select “fit to page” if necessary.
  • Professional printing options: If you don’t have a printer at home, local print shops, office supply stores or online print services can print on heavier cardstock or photo paper. They often provide options for matte or glossy finishes.
  • Framing and display ideas: These prints look great in simple frames, on floating shelves, or leaned against a textured backdrop. Mix and match a few seasonal prints with a couple of neutral frames for a cohesive look.
  • Storage: Keep extra printed copies flat in a protective sleeve or portfolio to avoid creases. Cardstock stores well in a cool, dry place.
