Spring Tablescape and Entryway Decor Ideas

I love a pretty tablescape—don’t you? My recent DIY Farmhouse Wooden Box Centerpiece inspired this simple Spring tablescape. I prefer effortless decorating: using items I already own, adding a couple of small new pieces, and arranging everything so it feels fresh and inviting without taking hours.

If you enjoy spring decor as much as I do, you’ll find a few more ideas in the spring home tours linked at the end of this post.

This year I added just a couple of new items: a handful of wooden eggs I found in Target’s Dollar Spot and rose-colored jars that provide a soft pop of pink. I clipped boxwood stems from my front flower bed to add fresh greenery, and used chargers and glassware I already had in my collection. The result is a light, spring-forward table that looks thoughtful without being fussy.

I’m especially fond of the turquoise goblets you see here—they’re from the Pioneer Woman line at Walmart and are one of those easy, colorful touches I reach for again and again. They pair nicely with neutral chargers and a simple runner to create a balanced look.

The plate chargers are from IKEA and the table runner came from TJ Maxx—two budget-friendly sources that can elevate everyday place settings. Styling this tablescape took about 10 minutes: place a runner, center your charger and plate, add glassware, tuck in a few boxwood sprigs, and arrange wooden eggs and a couple of small candles. Simple, quick, and seasonal.

I also refreshed my entryway table with a few favorite pieces to carry the spring theme through the house. A recent birthday gift—a Laurel Browning art piece—now greets me as I walk through the door, and it feels perfectly suited to the space. Small changes like this make a big difference in the overall mood of your home.

I first spotted the artwork on a local boutique’s Instagram and shared it because I loved it so much—my husband and daughter surprised me with it for my birthday. Seeing it every day makes the entry feel personal and welcoming.

I also kept my newest printable on the table for a cheerful, seasonal touch. A wooden bead garland I made from simple craft beads adds texture and a playful element—these bead garlands are popular right now for a reason: they’re versatile, easy to style, and add warmth to both modern and farmhouse decor.

Whether you have minutes or an afternoon, a simple spring tablescape can refresh your dining area. Focus on a few anchor pieces, mix new finds with old favorites, and add natural elements like cut greenery or seasonal florals. Small touches—colorful glassware, a runner, a stack of chargers, candles, and a textured garland—create an inviting table that’s ready for family meals or casual gatherings.
