This past week was my children’s last full week of school, and my youngest and I are starting summer a little early with a glamping trip this weekend with her Girl Scout troop. The forecast looks perfect, and it feels like a simple, joyful way to ease into the slower pace of summer.
I also published a new custom Frame TV frame project on the blog, including a full tutorial and step‑by‑step photos. If you’ve ever flinched at the $500+ price tag for those chunky, decorative TV frames, this DIY could be a great alternative. I’m really happy with how it turned out. The build itself is approachable if you’re comfortable using basic tools — I took longer because I photographed and documented each step, but the project could be completed in roughly three to five days when working steadily.
