New free Christmas printables for your home decor! Use your home printer to add festive cheer to your home this holiday season!
Hello friend! Every year I look forward to sharing these printables because they remind me of when I first began decorating on a budget. Art can be expensive, and changing decor seasonally adds up, so printable art became my go-to way to refresh rooms quickly and affordably. With a sheet of paper and a bit of ink, you can add personality and holiday warmth to any corner of your home.
I began designing free printables for readers a few years ago, and I keep creating more because it’s genuinely fun. This season I created a fresh set of festive pieces you can print at home—simple, cozy designs that fit nicely in frames, on shelves, or tucked into vignettes to bring instant Christmas cheer.

One of my favorites in this collection is a cozy scene that looks lovely framed in a plaid or wood frame. A framed printable makes a thoughtful, budget-friendly gift—simply print, trim, and slip it into a frame for a ready-made present that feels personal and handmade.

I printed one design at 65% scale so it would fit perfectly in a 4 x 6 frame; most of the files are set to print full-page on 8.5×11 paper but can be scaled down to fit smaller frames. I designed the files so you can choose vertical or horizontal orientation for certain scenes, giving you flexibility depending on the frame or shelf you’re decorating.

I added a festive living room scene to a little-used corner of my kitchen and suddenly the sink area felt like a small holiday vignette. Little touches like a printable tucked into a frame or leaned against a backsplash can make everyday spaces feel seasonal without much effort.

There’s also a traditional wreath printable in this set, and another version that includes the word “joy” for a slightly different look. These wreath designs are great on built-in shelves, entryway consoles, mantels, or anywhere you want a classic holiday accent.

Tips on Printing Printable Art Decor
- Printer choice: A reliable home printer makes it convenient to produce printables on demand. If you don’t print often, local print shops can also produce high-quality prints.
- Use cardstock: I recommend printing on matte cardstock for sturdiness. Standard printer paper is thin and can look flimsy in a frame.
- Scale and trim: Files are set up to print at 100% on 8.5×11 paper with a small margin to accommodate framing. If you need them to fit an 8×10 or smaller frame, reduce the scale in your print settings and trim the edges to center the artwork.
- Printing services: If you don’t have a home printer, many office supply stores and local print shops offer single-page printing on quality paper or cardstock.
- Framing ideas: Simple frames, thrifted frames refreshed with paint, or even clipboard displays make printables look intentional and polished. Rotating printables seasonally keeps decor fresh without a large investment.
